Pomodoro Technique
The pomodoro technique uses a timer to break down periods of work into 25-minute intervals (called 'pomodoros' from the Italian word for 'tomato') separated by breaks.- Wikipedia
www.mytomatoes.com is a website that uses this time management method and it is exactly what I need! I always have trouble concentrating and feeling productive. I'm going to give it a try today.

Levek
Levek - Shift(GB A Cappella Cover) from David Levesque on Vimeo.
"I'm a bus driver that makes music after a long day of elementary schoolers putting gum on my lovely pleather bus seats. I enjoy a good space jam while sorting through the Disney VHS collection" -Levek
Grizzly Bear posted this video on their facebook page and I couldn't resist to blog about it. Levek covered Grizzly Bear's song "Shift" and made it a cappella. This dreamy version goes so well with the disney footage. You can listen to more of Levek's Mickey Mouse tribal sounds (as he describes them) here.

I Stitched The Knife
I met a new yorker through last.fm a while ago and when he came to Miami to visit an aunt, we decided to go to a wild safari themed party and meet in person. He turned out to be a pretty awesome friend, today is his birthday and since he wore a crow mask that reminded me of The Knife that night we went out, I decided to make a stitched version of it and give it to him as a birthday present. He loves the band, I hope he likes my gift.
