Another Obladi Oblada Vintage find! I'm so in love with this pair. The floral cut-outs and striking golden color make me want to dance in them. These shoes as well as lovely floral dresses will be up next week, stay tuned!

Fancypack

I wish I could've found this fannypack turned fancy earlier! Obladi Oblada Vintage was one of the vendors at the Indie Craft Bazaar last weekend and this could've been the perfect accessory to keep the earnings. I can still add it to my birthday wish list though =) I'm sure you can find better ways to use it. Carrotcake makes them in different colors and sizes, check them out here.

Mary Mayer: High on Love

My busy schedule has prevented me from blogging last week but I'm back! and I'll hopefully be constant for the rest of the year =)

I've been a fan of Mary Meyer clothes for a while now, her spring 2010 collection is definitely one of my favorites. I love the flattering cropped tops and code language prints. You can see more of her collection here.

Jumbo Journal by PlanAhead

My Journal is my BFF, I write random wish lists, to do lists, bill lists and whatever I think I may forget. Since I use it so much I needed a bigger but still useful journal. I found this great Jumbo Journal at Walgreens this morning, loved the simple design and perforated pages. You can get one here or at your local Walgreens for $5.99.

Daytrotter

Daytrotter is a website for the recording studio Horseshack, which hosts recording sessions with many popular and upcoming indie music acts.

This is my first day listening to Daytrotter but these recording sessions have been going on for over four years now. The best part of it is that if you like what you hear you can download for free. I've been having a stressful day but these lovely acts have helped not to kick my computer: (click on the photo to listen)

Society 6

Society6 is where artists promote each others' work, and collaborate with brands to create and sell collectible products.

Society6 is an AWESOME community website of international talented artists. Sooo many cool prints it makes me feel uncool... but I'll try. You can also sign up, discover and create your own studio here.

Franco Sarto: Crossbody Marble Bag

My mom and I went to check out the new DSW store by my house, we saw lots of shoes but this particular cross body bag caught my attention. It had a unique shape and lots of zippers, meaning lots of compartments, meaning that I could finally find my keys! It also came with a cute and handy umbrella. My birthday is still a month away but my sweet mom got it for me as an early present. I couldn't find this bag on the DSW online store but you can find one here, too bad they don't have it in navy blue like the one I got, and it's almost double the price of what my mom paid, yikes! I guess we got a good deal.

Stitched Origami Swan

Stitched Origami Swan

Stitched Origami Swan 2

This was my first encounter with stitching, I finished it a long time ago but finally put it up. I love the geometric look of origami shapes and decided to stitch an origami swan graphic on canvas, since the canvas fabric is thicker, it took a bigger needle and lots of pressing to get it done. I've had that colorful embroidery thread for years, I'm glad I used it all. =)

Stitch it

Some people read before going to sleep, I stitch. It helps me wind down after a long day. There are a lot of ways of stitching but I usually fall for the simple and unique designs like the ones above. I know they're very time consuming and that makes them more special, they're all beautifully done!

From left to right:

1. Weeping Willow by Hare and Drum
2. Carried Away by Cowboy Bunny
3. Pretty a pair of legs and tiny feet by Whimsiology
4. Girl and her horse no. 3 by Mary's Granddaughter
5. Queen Elizabeth by Slipcover Your Life's Stitchery
6. Custom knot by Miniature Rhino
